Steve has spent twenty years in the management of registered training organisations, educational and development programs, educational needs analysis, the development and sourcing of training materials, consulting on education, training and online learning to a range of community, volunteer, commercial and educational organisations. An acknowledged expert in these fields, Steve has presented papers on education, online learning and IT security to over ten Australian and International conferences and holds a Masters of Education (Adult) and a Masters of Online Education.

 

As an avid yachtsman and international yachting official, Steve has officiated at the America’s Cup and Olympic Games. Steve has also worked with teams involved in the America’s Cup and teams that have won the Volvo and Global Challenge Round the World yacht races. Most weekends you will find Steve racing his yacht with his wife Michele and step-son Will.

Steve's prime responsibility is managing Strategy and Tenders across the Sugar Group.
