John is the Chief Executive Officer of Sugar International and associated companies.
Starting in real estate at 19 years of age, after 3 years at Curtin University studying Commerce, John made an immediate impact winning coveted Rookie of The Year for Ray White Real Estate. At 21 years of age he was the youngest franchise owner in the real estate industry, starting his life as a business owner. He went on to win numerous sales and marketing awards whilst building an award winning team and business. He was the inaugural winner of the WA Auctioneer of the Year in 1998 and repeated the feat in 1999 and 2000. He started Sugar in 2000 and in 2002 was voted as one of the Top 40 business people in WA under the age of 40.
He is often asked to inspire large audiences and has been a keynote speaker at international conferences. John also works with international sporting individuals move from professional sport to business.
In 2004 John published his first book "Go - A teenagers guide for Success" and in 2009 hosted the TV series "School of Success".
John is married to Rebecca and they have a beautiful daughter named Madison.
A dedicated fitness fanatic, John competes in boxing and running. He is a West Coast Eagles supporter and a cricket follower. He breeds racehorses from his farm in Western Australia and dreams of winning group 1 races in Sydney and Melbourne. A dedicated family man, John spends as much time with his family as possible.
