Jarrod is an Executive of Sugar International Limited and associated companies. He was raised in New Norfolk, a small country town north of Hobart, Tasmania.
After studying commerce at the University of Tasmania, He was appointed the CEO of the Real Estate Institute of Tasmania, a real estate association, at the age of 23. Jarrod was responsible for all aspects of financial planning and budgeting, membership relations, government lobbying, media spokesperson for the industry, was instrumental in the development and implementation of the industry training body in Tasmania and served on several boards and committees representing both business and community groups.
After 5 years in this role, Jarrod was approached by L. J. Hooker, Australia's largest real estate franchise group, to assist in the development of their network and moved he and his wife, Madeleine to Melbourne in 2002.
Attending a conference in San Francisco changed the direction and the life of Jarrod, meeting some interesting people who went in to be his business partners in the establishment of Sugar - now Sugar/Talent2.
Jarrod is responsible for the growth of the business, is an avid St Kilda follower, enjoys spending time with his wife Madeleine and son Tommy, is a keen cyclist, scuba diver, skier and project hunter.
